Boat Course Costs

• Boat Course $160

• Combined boat/PWC Course $270

• Boat and PWC course can be completed in the one day

• Courses run every weekend on the water at Mariners Cove or Tallebudgera Creek

• Included in costs are copies of course notes and bouyage flip cards

• On water practical session is completed in a boatsafe approved 4.5m centre console with 75Hp

Boat Course (RMDL)

The one day "BoatSafe" approved Recreational Marine Drivers Licence course involves completing a range of theory and practical work.

Morning theory lessons cover:

• Vessel Oriention            • Safety Obligations of the skipper

• Safety Equipmenta  a• Bouys and Beacons (IALA)

• Collision regulationsa • Vessel lights

• Chartworka                        • Tides and Weather

Afternoon practical sessions include practical demos and instruction on:

• Vessel departure and safety checks

• Handling and manoeuvering characteristics

• High and slow speed handling

• Anchoring, docking or mooring
